Job Description


  • Project managers are the people in charge of a specific project or projects within a company. As the project manager, your job is to plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of the specific project you are working on.
  • Project managers might work by themselves or be in charge of a team to get the job done. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required and should be noted on the resume. Proof of certification may be requested.


Level Description


  • 8 or more years of experience, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Certification in Project Management by a recognized project management organization or Scrum Master a plus.




The Worker will need to perform the following tasks and assignments:


  • Overseeing design and development work.
  • Managing the project with feature-driven Agile methodology, overseeing, and tracking development progress, and ensuring project assignments and progress aligning with project timelines.
  • Developing and managing project plans.
  • Documenting risks, issues, and contingency plans; ensuring resolution of issues and removal of project barriers.
  • Providing weekly status updates (written and verbal) and conducting regular project team status meetings.
  • Overseeing the development of SDLC artifacts, ensuring business requirements are translated into technical specifications, guiding, and facilitating the SDLC process.
  • Developing and maintaining solid relationships with project sponsors and stakeholders.
  • Possessing effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Possessing strong teamwork skills.
  • Transferring working knowledge to current staff.




Candidate Skills and Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:


  • 8 Years Required: Project Management Experience for large-scale Enterprise Implementations.
  • 8 Years Required: State of Texas or Similar Federal/State Project Management Experience.
  • 8 Years Required: Development Experience.
  • 5 Years Preferred: State of Texas Project Delivery Framework Experience.
  • 4 Years Preferred: PMP Certification.
  • 3 Years Preferred: Agile (Scrum) Experience.
  • 2 Years Preferred: Salesforce Experience.
  • 1 Year Preferred: State Procurement and Contracting Experience.
  • 1 Year Preferred: Jira Experience.
