The Project Manager, Business Transformation ensures successful execution of projects that connect directly to Husky's strategic initiatives. Reporting to the Director of the Management Resource Center, this role is responsible for leading project delivery (60%) and supporting organizational effectiveness through business case development, process documentation, and workflow standardization (40%). The Manager ensures projects are well-structured, aligned to strategic priorities, and delivered with accountability and clarity.

Project Management (60%)



  • Manage assigned projects that connect to organizational strategic initiatives, from planning through completion.
  • Translate defined scope and objectives from Executive Sponsors into actionable project plans.
  • Develop timelines, deliverables, and resourcing plans to ensure on-time, on-budget execution.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams, coordinating tasks and ensuring milestone accountability.
  • Monitor project risks and issues, escalate when needed, and recommend solutions.
  • Provide consistent project reporting and progress updates to the Director of MRC, PMO, and Executive Sponsors.


Business Case Development & Process Documentation (40%)



  • Partner with stakeholders to develop business cases that support proposed projects and initiatives.
  • Map current- and future-state processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
  • Document standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflows, and project outcomes to support knowledge transfer and organizational learning.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by ensuring project documentation connects to KPI tracking and organizational priorities.
  • Support governance by maintaining process clarity and reporting discipline.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related discipline

Related experience:



  • 5-7 years of experience in project management, business analysis, or process improvement.
  • Proven success in managing cross-functional projects that align to organizational strategies.
  • Strong skills in business case development, process mapping, and documentation.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (PMP, Agile, or equivalent).
  • Proficiency in project and process tools (e.g., Asana, Smartsheet, Visio, MS Office).
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and executive reporting skills.


Certificates, Licenses, or Registrations:

Project Management Certification (preferred)
