What you will do:

Under the general direction of the Senior Finance Manager of Corporate FP&A, your will be responsible for providing in-depth financial planning and business analysis related to the Corporate Function Finance support. You will lead the financial and analytical processes for Corporate Functions at Johnson Controls.

How you will do it:

  • Prepare monthly Corporate Function financial statements.

  • Prepare annual operating and capital budgets, along with monthly Outlooks for Corporate Functions.

  • Lead financial trend analysis and present findings to senior leadership.

  • Maintain dialog with management, departmental and regional financial personnel to identify and evaluate evolving business issues.

  • Lead analysis of operational results compared to plan and forecast.

  • Partner with Corporate Function leaders to adhere to plan/forecast.

  • Maintain robust internal controls and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

  • Provide leadership and support to other COE Finance team members as needed.

  • Drive special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

What we look for:

Required

  • Bachelor's degree with a major in accounting or finance.

  • Minimum of 6 years of work experience in private and/or public accounting.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.

  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic, with ability to adapt to changing environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and customer focused approach.

  • Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and a drive to achieve both short and long term results.

  • Ability to work well independently and in team setting.

  • Exceptional analytical skills, research capabilities and overall business acumen

  • Proven track record of delivering results and meet firm deadlines

  • Ability to manage and complete multiple tasks and projects.

  • Ability to effectively and professionally work with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Preferred

  • CPA or MBA

  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; SAP and OneStream experience

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $89,000 - $119,000 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.) This will be a hybrid position at our Glendale, WI office. We will consider remote internal candidates.
