Role Summary: Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Operations Manager is metrics-focused and integral to optimizing and accelerating Marketing output and impact, from planning and budgeting to data analysis and reporting. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain core operations workflows, processes, and technologies that support efficiencies, collaboration, and communication within the department and across stakeholder teams. You will lead a team that oversees the marketing project pipeline, event execution, key programs, and request/asset distribution channels. Hybrid remote work options available.

The essential duties and responsibilities of the Marketing Operations Manager will consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

- Support Marketing's success by running the day-to-day operations and bridging the gaps between strategic planning and tactical execution and results sharing with key stakeholders
- Lead, document, and continuously improve project management processes, from initial request, and distribution to sales/stakeholders to archiving assets/info, with a focus on effective handoff between Marketing Communications, other internal teams, and external vendors, as needed
- Monitor progress and troubleshoot issues with project flow, identify dependencies, gaps and risk factors that impact project completion
- Manage the internal communication request channel, acting as the front line of communication, entering approved projects into the project management tool, assigning to appropriate team members
- Own the ongoing documentation of The Kendall Group marketing plan - working across functions in the Marketing Team to ensure the accuracy of the plan, timely status updates of projects, and visibility to sales leadership
- Actively monitor, analyze, and report on the impact of marketing through contribution to conversions, engagement, and customer acquisition
- Ensure that marketing measurement drives review of campaign performance across digital and offline channels, including social, website, email, PPC, events, and asset usage
- Collaborate with Marketing Communications and Field Marketing Specialists to develop metrics of success and agile processes for lead scoring and lead lifecycle management, from initial identification to customer
- Oversee promotional item order and distribution, developing relationships with external partners to drive cost and delivery efficiency
- Manage key external vendor partner relationships to ensure cost-effectiveness and alignment with marketing goals
- Assist with financials, passing invoices, maintaining budget records and reporting on performance to budget
- Participate in creating the annual marketing plan and budget, recommending tools, systems, processes, and on-trend metrics to maximize marketing impact on customers
- Oversee the customer/tradeshow event process, from planning, project management and logistics to day-of coordination, post-event follow up, and analysis
- Manage closed-loop processes and dashboards of key partner programs, ensuring timely and accurate submittal of reports/documents and funds received and allocated

What you'll need:
- Work Experience: 5 years of experience in Marketing Operations, project management and process development/documentation; strong knowledge of B2B digital marketing best practices, and related customer journeys and metrics; experience aggregating data points to build reports/dashboards that illustrate marketing impact, from basic campaign tracking to attribution models; experience with Digital Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing Operations, Marketing, Digital Marketing or other relevant degree or equivalent experience
- Analytics/Computer/Software Skills: Expertise in project management software (Airtable preferred), CRM and marketing automation platforms (HubSpot preferred); High proficiency with O365 programs and functionality, especially Excel and PowerPoint; High comfort level conducting qualitative and quantitative analysis in order to determine marketing campaign effectiveness/ROI and inform marketing decisions; Strong understanding of Google Analytics and Ads, SEO software/best practices, website heat mapping tools, Email and social media engagement metrics and advertising platforms; Affinity for Connecting/Aggregating Data to Create Insightful Analysis and Dashboards; Utilize Technology to Streamline and Amplify Output

- Management Experience: 2 years of experience leading direct reports

Qualifications we prefer but do not require:
