Summary: Fusion Packaging is a fast paced, high-energy, entrepreneurial company and a leading supplier of luxury packaging in the beauty industry. We are seeking a self-motivated, proactive manager with strong leadership in developing and implementing a marketing strategy to support the needs and mission of the organization. Responsibilities include heavy writing and presentation creation and the ability to oversee projects, bring creative energy and ideas, and execute accordingly working for a highly visible department. The ideal person will have the ability to work fast and meet tight daily/weekly deadlines, bringing a positive attitude, enthusiasm and commitment to the team. Knowledge and passion for the beauty/packaging industries and interest in cosmetics and its marketplace with an eye for aesthetics is a must. Key Duties:
- Sets marketing strategy and budget in partnership with executive leadership to achieve business goals and drive brand awareness, interest, conversion, and loyalty
- Translates strategy into omni-channel marketing plans, identifying priorities across efforts and leveraging paid, earned, shared, and owned media
- Sets effective marketing goals and objectives across website, email, social, advertising, sponsorships, PR, awards, partnerships, direct mail, webinars, trade shows, and events
- Leads a high-performing marketing team responsible for developing brand, digital, and product marketing programs, and executing deadline-driven campaigns
- Manages and collaborates with the team on the development of marketing roadmaps, the maintenance of a central marketing calendar, and the execution of supporting campaigns and activities
- Guides customer-centric campaign strategy, crafts messaging, and writes copy to promote brand, product solutions, and business capabilities
- Understands packaging portfolio and product value propositions for existing packages and new launches to translate them into compelling messages
- Develop and implement product strategies for product infrastructure, roll-out, education, maintenance and competitive assessments to support company goals and ensure successful product adoption and integration, provide ongoing team training, and develop product case studies.
- Support the enablement of sales by creating and managing training modules, presentations and materials, and develop merchandising strategies for tradeshows and showrooms.
- Regularly report on product trends, synchronize product calendars, support marketing campaigns, and drive process improvements.
- Oversees production cycle of creative content from start to finish including concepts, briefs, reviews and approvals, partnering closely with in-house designers, external agencies and photographers to ensure creative objectives are well defined and ultimately delivered on schedule in preparation for programming
- Builds relationships and collaborates with beauty industry media, trade show organizers, agencies and other external partners
- Leads advertising strategy, budget, media buy, creative and measurement, collaborating with advertising partners at industry media outlets to reach target audience, increase ROAS, and establish thought leadership and industry authority
- Oversees the deadline-driven production of trade shows including booth design, graphics, product focuses, pre-show logistics and budget
- Maximizes existing MarTech stack, vets new technologies, and creates business cases to advance company's digital transformation and competitive advantage through new capabilities
- Oversees advancement of website performance, refreshes, product catalog, dev projects, SEO, maintenance, and hosting
- Directs email marketing program, guiding best practices including list management, personalization, segmentation, journeys and automations to drive customer engagement, lead generation and business growth
- Guides social media strategy including channel mix, brand identity, posting cadence, and content to increase engagement, motivate shares and grow followers
- Leverages weekly, monthly and quarterly data-driven, multi-channel reporting to gain insights, improve marketing performance, and test new tactics
- Works closely with cross-functional teams including Creative, Sales, Account Management, Product, Technology, Operations, and Finance to ensure a seamless brand and customer experience across channels, systems, and journeys
- Drives continuous improvement of marketing operations by identifying opportunities to streamline systems and implement new processes, working with key stakeholders across the organization
- Management of all financial aspects of the marketing organization including budgeting, allocating resources, forecasting, and tracking spend
- Enforces brand guidelines and consistency, and oversees company-wide dissemination of up-to-date brand assets including font files, logos, etc.
- Closely tracks consumer, tech & competitive trends to introduce new ideas, identify opportunities, and keep brand ahead of competition
- Rolls up sleeves and helps fill in gaps when needed
