Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday

Pay Range: $45-$49 per hour (based on experience)

About the Role

In this high-impact position, you'll be the bridge between suppliers, engineering, and production-responsible for resolving supplier quality issues, ensuring continuous improvement, and safeguarding smooth manufacturing operations. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams and global suppliers to maintain performance, quality, and innovation in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

What You'll Do

• Take cradle-to-grave ownership of assigned mass production suppliers, including supplier scorecards and performance management.
• Investigate and resolve supplier-related quality issues using 8D, 5 Whys, and Fishbone methodologies.
• Conduct supplier audits, site inspections, and develop process improvement plans to maintain compliance and performance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, Logistics, NPI, and Program teams to ensure robust solutions.
• Support new product build events, ensuring flawless transitions from prototype to production.
• Drive the lessons-learned process across programs to enhance efficiency and product quality.
• Generate reports for leadership outlining supplier performance, KPIs, and improvement strategies.
• Travel domestically and internationally (25-75%) as needed to visit supplier sites and Lucid facilities.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of plant floor Supplier Quality Engineering experience in Interiors Commodity components (Center Consoles, Door Panels, Hard/Soft Trims, Instrument Panels)
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field (Master's preferred)
• Expertise with IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, FMEA, DOE, DFM/A, and GD&T
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
• ASQ or Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred
• Experience reading schematics, interpreting drawings, and applying quality standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with experience in Smartsheet, JMP, Minitab, JIRA, or Tableau, a plus
• Hands-on, data-driven, and collaborative mindset with the ability to make independent decisions
