NWP Distinguished Visiting Writer

NWP Distinguished Visiting Writer to teach 2 courses, Spring 2027 - one graduate and one undergraduate. Must be an internationally recognized figure in with substantial publications in major national magazines as well as a minimum of four published books from esteemed literary presses. Preferred candidates will have podcasting or other multimedia experience.

The successful candidate will have experience teaching creative writing, nonfiction, and/or multimedia courses.

The Distinguished Visiting Writer will be expected to give a major public presentation, make several smaller classroom visits, participate in advising graduate theses in the Nonfiction Writing Program and aid with admissions screening. Salary commensurate.
