As Manager of Parts Sales Sr, you will lead a team of industry professionals across multiple OEM parts sales inventory and distribution lines within the Business Aviation division of StandardAero. The position will support customer AOG requirements, OEM programs, and ongoing parts sales across airframe, engine, avionics, and components. Within the growing Enterprise Asset Management organization at StandardAero, Senior Manager of Parts Sales will be accountable for individual and team performance, performance management and reporting, team staffing, pricing, and weekly operational cadences.

What you'll do:

  • Develop and execute strategic and tactical plans to achieve annual sales and margin targets.
  • Leading and motivating sales staff to improve customer service with clients.
  • Delivery of annual parts sales quotas, delivery of individual quota and team quota
  • Developing and promoting weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales objectives.
  • Drafting detailed and accurate sales reports and presentations.
  • Working with customers to better understand their business needs and goals.
  • Assessing costs, competition, and supply and demand to identify selling prices.
  • Estimating sales volume and profit for current and new products.
  • Identify sales opportunities by monitoring changing trends, economic indicators, competitors, and supply and demand
  • Execute and grow Avionics warranty contract services, HAPP and CASP.
  • Maintain professional, technical and industry knowledge by reviewing professional or industry specific publications, establishing personal networks, attending annual trade shows and conferences, and customer facing events.
  • Recruiting and retaining talented sales personnel to build a strong team to meet.
  • Generate, respond to and complete sales of spare parts, part repairs to external business aviation, airline and broker customers.
  • Manage and cultivate customer, co-worker and vendor relationships to generate sales and acquire aircraft and inventories.
  • Manage customer communications including, ILS quotes, and PartsBase quotes for requests for price, availability, and lead time for the sale of parts and repairs.
  • Provide customer support for: technical document requests, supplier contacts and information, alternate part numbers, warranty questions, etcetera.
  • Manage 24 x 7 AOG customer phone parts support.
  • Project management of additional initiatives, complex transactions and projects as assigned.

Position Requirements:

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • A minimum of 10 years experience in a similar role, preferably in business aviation.
  • Experience with Honeywell, Rockwell Collins, or other business aviation product lines
  • Computer experience required in inventory and sales systems and proficient using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient inventory system and ERP system experience

Preferred Characteristics:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a relevant field, preferred
  • Airframe and engine part sales experience preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of marketing techniques and best practices.
  • Capacity to manage various projects and work to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent negotiation and leadership skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
