Job Details

The Tisch Multiple Sclerosis Research Center of New York (Tisch MSRCNY) invites applications for a Principal Investigator position at the Research Associate or Assistant Research Scientist level, depending on experience. We are looking for a passionate scientist to lead innovative research projects in MS with focus including, but not limited to, the following areas:



  • Neuroimmunology of MS
  • Experimental animal models of demyelinating disease and neurodegeneration to investigate the mechanisms of disease progression in MS.
  • Pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-derived 2D and 3D (organoid) models to explore glial and neuronal phenotypes associated with multiple sclerosis

Qualifications:



  • PhD or MD/PhD with postdoctoral experience in biological sciences relevant to MS.
  • Strong background in neuroscience and/or neuroimmunology.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a collaborative research setting.
  • Robust publication record demonstrating research excellence.
