Position description Part-time lecturer position available for the Department of Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology. Percentage of employment will vary according to number of courses taught. DUTIES: Teach lecture courses on molecular, cell, and developmental biology, cancer, metabolism, epigenetics, stem cell biology, politics and ethics; biomedical ethics; plant development and plant environment interactions; and other topics as needed. Plan and coordinate discussion activities for multiple sections of courses; supervise course teaching assistants; manage the acquisition and maintenance of course materials; supervise student projects; and maintain office hours. TERM OF APPOINTMENT: Winter 2026 and/or Spring 2026 quarters. Internal applicants will be considered for reappointment prior to the consideration of external applicants. Qualifications Basic qualifications PhD in Biological Sciences is required. Demonstrated experience in undergraduate teaching at the university level; experience with hands-on laboratory research and instruction in the biological sciences .
