GENERAL SUMMARY


Performs the analysis of financial statements and tax returns for Account Officers. Under the direction of the Team Manager, may participate in underwriting less complex new and renewal lines of credit with a focus on C&I and Owner-Occupied Real Estate transactions to support a team.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS



  • Manages ticklers and covenants as well as monitors receipt of financial documents pertaining to existing credits to include financial statements for borrowers, owners and/or guarantors, tax returns, financial spreads, collateral information, covenants, borrowing base, credit reports, and projections.
  • Prepares and analyzes financial spreads for private and public companies as well as individual and corporate tax returns according to the guidelines and policies established by the Bank.
  • Completes quality spreads with supervision for new and renewal extensions of credit.
  • Prepares individual or corporation and global cash flows.
  • Calculates various financial ratios to assist in the ongoing monitoring of borrower compliance to financial covenants per loan agreements and the submission of financial documents.
  • Calculates covenant compliance based on Borrower's Loan Agreement (BLA).
  • Forwards completed spreads to Portfolio Managers within the team. Identifies and notifies Portfolio Managers within the team of covenant violations and escalates as required.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge on all Bank lending policies and regulations.
  • Escalates potential credit issues to Team Manager.


QUALIFICATIONS



  • Education: College degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum one year (prefers two) of working experience in analyzing
    financial statements, cash flow analysis, familiarity with various industries, collateral issues and values, and analysis of guarantor personal financial statements and tax returns.
  • Skills/Ability: Good working knowledge of accounting, credit policy and financial
    statement analysis. Good organizational and analytical skills. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work successfully both independently and as a team. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

$21.63 - $31.25 / hour
Pay determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
This position may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
