What You Will Do

The Senior Manager - Supply Chain Logistics is responsible for leading and optimizing end-to-end logistics operations across global and regional networks. This role ensures efficient movement of goods, cost-effective transportation, and high service levels to support business objectives. The ideal candidate will bring strategic thinking, operational excellence, and strong leadership to drive continuous improvement in logistics performance-with a particular focus on designing final mile logistics solutions.

This is a Remote U.S.-based role with 60%+ domestic travel required. Candidates must be prepared for frequent travel and can be located anywhere within the United States.

How You Will Do It

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and implement logistics strategies aligned with global supply chain objectives and customer needs.

  • Serve as the logistics subject matter expert in cross-functional discussions.

  • Lead initiatives across logistics, planning, IT, finance, service, real estate, and external partners to improve delivery performance and reduce costs.

Operational Execution

  • Design and manage a forward stocking/final mile logistics network to support same-day delivery and technician order consolidation.

  • Determine operational activities across JCI warehouse branches, stocking locations, and central distribution centers.

  • Manage 3PL/4PL relationships and ensure performance against SLAs and KPIs.

  • Monitor freight spend, carrier performance, and route optimization.

Team Leadership

  • Lead 3PL teams supporting forward stocking locations.

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Process & Technology Optimization

  • Drive automation and digital transformation across logistics operations.

  • Leverage TMS, WMS, and ERP systems to enhance visibility and control.

  • Facilitate Kaizen events and continuous improvement initiatives.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs, and safety standards.

  • Develop contingency plans to mitigate supply chain disruptions.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Analyze logistics data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

  • Present performance metrics and strategic insights to senior leadership.

What We Look For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field (Master's preferred).

  • 8+ years of progressive logistics experience, including global operations and final mile delivery.

  • Proven leadership in managing teams and large-scale logistics networks.

  • Strong knowledge of transportation, warehousing, and international trade.

  • Proficiency in logistics systems (TMS, WMS, ERP) and data analytics tools.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Lean Six Sigma or equivalent continuous improvement certification.

  • Experience in industrial, automotive, or tech logistics environments.

  • Expertise in final mile and central distribution center logistics.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $126,000-169,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.) This role offers a competitive Bonus plan that will take into account individual, group, and corporate performance. This position includes a competitive benefits package.
