Norris, Inc, a non-profit organization, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accounting and Payroll Coordinator to join our team in Mukwonago, WI. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring accurate receipts and/or disbursements, as well as coordination of the payroll process to deliver an accurate payroll. Duties include performing a variety of Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable and accounting tasks, as well as organization of financial records and pay related records.

Qualifications:

  • An Associate's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or other Business related degree or equivalent work experience.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a business related field is preferred.
  • Consistent attendance with attention to detail in support of an agency and staff in multiple service programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform the Accounts Payable functions of entering invoices, General Ledger coding, purchase order matching and payment processing.
  • Perform the Accounts Receivable functions to invoice and record services provided.
  • Financial recordkeeping that includes pay related records, financial documentation and organization.
  • Payroll processing and coordination to maintain accurate records and process payroll and its related entries in ADP.
  • Audit, process, and record expense reports including annual audit preparation.
  • Compile data and prepare a variety of reports.
  • Maintain financial databases and records via business system data entry/recording, making or scanning copies, and filing documents.
  • Investigate questionable data and recommend actions to resolve discrepancies.
  • Support business with clerical task assistance (e.g. phone calls, visitor reception, faxing, mail etc.).
  • Protect the organization's value by keeping information confidential.
  • Support the organization by performing cross-functional ad hoc assignments as requested.
