About Us

In Lenovo SSG Information Technology we are a team of 30 globally who focus on SAP and commercial suite software operation, maintenance, and support. This position is hybrid at our second global HQ in Morrisville, NC with an onsite presence 3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of SAP systems, including process and queue management.
  • Support product development and optimization through activities such as installation, configuration, upgrades, and patch management.
  • Identify and resolve system bottlenecks by analyzing data from monitoring tools, SQL queries, memory allocation, and storage configurations.
  • Deliver comprehensive operation and maintenance reports using SAP Basis tools.
  • Facilitate initiatives between Business Units and IT, coordinating work across different applications.
  • Ensure high-availability for SAP systems, including maintenance and disaster recovery planning.
  • Support internal and external audits to guarantee compliance and resolve any issues.
  • Manage HANA system permissions and handle transport requests efficiently.
  • Provide routine maintenance and troubleshooting support to maintain system integrity.

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 1+ years of experience working with SAP Basis, HANA, or ECC.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP Enterprise Operations, including SAP Basis, S/4 HANA, and ECC.
  • 3+ years of experience with SAP suites such as CRM, PO, DS, BO, BW, SLT, SLM.
  • Strong understanding of the SAP S/4 HANA architecture and in-memory database technology.
  • Expertise in migration, configuration, data archiving, system copying, and permission allocation within SAP environments.
  • Familiarity with the technical constraints and limitations related to HANA system design.
  • Outstanding cross-functional collaboration skills; ability to communicate complex technical situations to both technical and non-technical users.
  • Proficient in managing and maintaining Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve performance issues for HANA databases.
  • Cultural Competency working across diverse cultural contexts, including Chinese, American, Desi, European, and South American, ensuring clear and tactful communication.
  • Experience in managing and communicating expectations effectively.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated discretion when handling confidential information or sensitive topics.
  • Technofunctional implementation experience is considered an advantage.
  • Bilingual proficiency in both Mandarin and English is a plus.

The base salary budgeted range for this position is $75-85k. Individuals may also be considered for bonus and/or commission. This position is hybrid at our second global HQ in Morrisville, NC with an onsite presence 3 days per week.
