Rite-Hite is seeking a strategic and hands-on Human Resources Manager, based out of our office in Windsor, CT, to support our distribution network, including multiple locations across the region. This role partners closely with leaders overseeing technicians, sales, and administrative teams to deliver HR solutions that strengthen engagement, build capability, and drive business results.

The HR Manager plays a key role as part of the regional leadership team-balancing day-to-day people support with long-term strategic initiatives that foster growth, collaboration, and operational excellence.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with distribution and regional leaders to support HR strategy across multiple sites.

  • Provide HR guidance for diverse employee groups, including technicians, sales, and administrative staff.

  • Support workforce planning, recruitment, and selection for key roles; coach hiring managers on best practices.

  • Develop and implement onboarding, training, and development programs that build skill and engagement.

  • Guide managers through performance management, career development, and employee relations matters.

  • Promote consistent practices across sites while supporting flexibility for local needs.

  • Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and develop proactive people solutions.

  • Lead and develop an HR team member, fostering a collaborative and responsive HR function.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 4 years supporting distribution, logistics, or manufacturing teams.

  • Experience working with hourly and field-based employees in multi-site operations.

  • 2+ years of HR supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.

  • Strategic thinker with strong relationship-building and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office; HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) a plus.

  • Willingness to travel up to 30% across U.S. and Canadian locations; valid U.S. driver's license and passport required.

The hiring range for this position in USA-CT-Windsor is $109,900.00-$164,950.00 per year based on a 40-hour work week. The number of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus opportunity may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of benefits including medical, dental, life, and vision insurance, disability, a 401(k) plan, profit sharing, and PTO/vacation.
