About the Role

TheDirector, Security and Surveillance, willlead allBetMGMfacilities, with a particular focus on our corporate headquarters in Jersey City, NJ.The position will also have oversight of all partnership properties thatBetMGMteam members work in or visit on a regular basis.The position will lead allsecurity,surveillance,and corporate office facilityoperations teams and providementorship and guidance while ensuring all Company policies and procedures are being followed.

The right candidate will build out the security, surveillanceand facilitystrategy forall BetMGMassets.The positionwillalso betasked with assistingthe business with newlocations and affiliate properties as deemed necessary.The Director, Security and Surveillance, will assist Senior leadershipwithneeds assessments when and where applicable. The right individual for this role will have a keen attention to detail, enjoy strategic forward planning, and will possess a knowledge ofmulti-dimensional security and surveillance needs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all security- and surveillance-related operational matters of various properties and their events. This includesleadingSenior Managersand providingeffective leadership and guidance during any major crisis/incidents

  • Support leadership with the implementation and execution of strategic goals to deliver guest service using feedback and data with a proactive approach; manage the delivery and measurement ofguestservice consistent with the property's core service standards.

  • Support leadership and facilities personnel inallBetMGMproperties, including those headquartered in Jersey City, NJ, as well as all affiliate/partnership properties

  • Provide ongoing safety and security consultation to the entireBetMGMorganization,including, but not limited to: supporting ongoing yearly training efforts such as active shooter, OSHA, and emergency preparedness

  • Develop an understanding of all relevant local, state, and federal laws and maintain a good working relationship with local law enforcement, gaming agents, and other regulatory officials/bodies

  • Collaborate, as needed, with local law enforcementtouphold law and order in the facility, maintain guest/team member safety, and respond to and handle emergency situations

  • Promptly address all guest and team member questions or concerns, either directly or by involving the appropriate department, supervisor, or manager to ensure accurate information or effective resolution

  • Leadallfacility functionsfor the company, including but not limited to: ensuring allequipment andbuilding functions aremaintainedandworkingproperly

  • Lead emergencyresponse centerdutiesand respond toemergencyevents, as needed

  • Provide clear guidance and support during emergency situations, including evacuations, severe weather, natural disasters, and security threats

  • Offer recommendations to help resolve incidents effectively and minimize impact to the business

  • Manage relationships with Security/Surveillance and Facilities vendors, including reviewing contracts to ensure alignment with business needs and compliance with company standards

  • Manage vendors to ensure completion of work orders and contracted services

  • Oversee the planning and execution of new facility builds for Security and Surveillance, including access control systems, security assessments, surveillance infrastructure, and overall coordination across all managed areas

  • Ensure policies/procedures and compliance standards are followed and maintained

  • Maintain knowledge of company internal controls, policies, regulations, and procedures

  • Implement Human Resources initiatives focused on fostering a collaborative and respectful work environment. Drive efforts in performance feedback, recognition, team member engagement, effective hiring, training, and succession planning, aligning with the company's commitment to culture and belonging

  • Ensure proper reporting and communication between surveillance and security as it pertains to incident reports andregulatoryitems

  • Maintain oversight of key control and issuance of team member badges and permits

  • Perform other job-related duties asdeemed necessary or assigned by the Chief Legal Officer

Essential Functions

  • Must be willing and able to travel between worksites regularly as deemed necessary, including but not limited to: Corporate Headquarters (Jersey City, NJ); Cincinnati, OH; Glendale, AZ; Ontario, Canada

Qualifications

  • Ability to gain and maintaina Gaming License through the proper regulatory bodies. Based on the role, this may also include advanced licensing requirements

  • 7+years of security or surveillance operations, government, or private industry experience in the security/surveillance field, includingpreviousexperience preparing risk assessments, operational security plans, conducting security reviews, and/or after-action reports

  • Knowledge of OSHA and other environmental entities

  • Previousleadership experience in a similar or related setting

  • Ability to lead and mentor a team

  • Strong comprehension skills for understanding information, security best practices, applying knowledge to different scenarios, and sharing recommendations with Executive leaders

  • Ability toeffectivelymanage crises with the ability to work well under pressure

  • Ability to perceive emergencies and distress signals

  • Stellar interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment

  • Excellent planning, time management, decision making, presentation, and organization skills with a focus on tight deadlines

  • Ability to build trust and commitment by modeling and reinforcing internal and external service excellence for team members anddemonstrating best practices

  • Ability todemonstratebusiness acumen by clarifying priorities, holding others accountable and using knowledge of current property and corporate initiatives to understand and improve business results

  • Ability to champion innovation and change by influencing and addressing resistance, takingappropriate risks, andrecognizing initiative shown by team members

Compensation

The annual salary range for this position is $145,520 to $190,995. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for participation in a performance-based bonus plan.

Gaming Compliance & Licensing Requirements

As an online gaming company, BetMGM is required to comply with state gaming regulations which includes licensing obligations. Applicable employees must be licensed by at least one jurisdictional agency, although certain positions require licensing by multiple agencies. Failure to become licensed or maintain licensure with each agency as required for the role may result in termination of employment. Please note that the licensing process includes comprehensive background checks which may include a review of criminal records, financial history, and personal background verification.

In addition, candidates must comply with and support the company's responsible gambling policies, procedures and initiatives.

Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. The position is also eligible for an annual bonus.
