The Intermediate Maintenance Technician works under general supervision and fully trained to complete responsibilities independently. He/she is a multi-skilled craftsperson responsible the installation/startup and troubleshooting of all mechanical and electrical processes used in manufacturing, as well as support equipment located in the building or on the grounds - the objective being to maximize production and the functional longevity and appearance of the building, grounds and equipment.

Salary Range: 31.00 hr

What You Will Do:

• Follow all safety guidelines and participate as fully-empowered team member to achieve organization-wide goal of zero incidents
• Observes devices and equipment in operation and troubleshoot problems
• Performs various electromechanical maintenance functions
• Respond to internal customer service and trouble calls
• Makes necessary repairs to equipment, as required
• Perform equipment calibrations to all analytical equipment and measurement devices
• Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections
• Installs and prepares equipment for startup, as required
• Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments
• Repairs or replaces defective parts and installs special functional and structural parts in devices
• Provide timely and effective communication of important issues to supervisor
• Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties
• Responsible for housekeeping in work area
• Uphold a safe, clean and orderly work environment
• Performs other related duties as required
• Quality of work meets best equipment engineering and maintenance practices
• Work closely with all shift peers and production team members
