Job Summary

This position supports the Apparel and Accessories Design & Development team with production support and logistic functions for Johnston & Murphy apparel and accessories. This includes data entry, tracking, logistics coordination and other production support as needed.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assists with sku creation of new offerings as well as editing of current offerings.
  • Ensures accuracy of purchase orders.
  • Tracks production from purchase order creation to final deliveries.
  • Manages communication with vendors for all aspects of order placement, keeping internal teams and systems updated in real time.
  • Updates delivery dates in ERP systems and excel tracking files to keep business units advised of delivery date changes.
  • Coordinates with logistics for approval of shipping methods based on target deliveries.
  • Organizes payment paperwork for vendors/factories, ensuring all paperwork is properly submitted to finance for processing and payment.

Job Requirements

  • College degree in production planning, supply chain, merchandising, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of related experience.
  • Exceptional skills in Microsoft Office Excel.
  • Proficient in data entry.
  • Knowledge of PIM, ERP or inventory management systems preferred.
  • Extremely detail oriented.
  • Excellent organization, time management and prioritization skills.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to write clear and concise emails to global resources daily.
  • A team player with ability to work closely across functional areas.
