The ideal candidate will be a key member of the STEPN organization. We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Lead Software Developer to join our fast-paced and innovative team. This leadership role is responsible for guiding the design, development, and deployment of scalable, resilient software solutions within a cloud-native architecture. The position involves providing strategic technical direction across the creation and integration of multiple complex systems, translating business requirements into effective technical designs, and contributing to the evaluation and selection of IT solutions aligned with specific business processes. The successful candidate will establish and refine engineering practices, metrics, and methodologies to support both current and future solution development. Responsibilities also include exploring emerging technologies, consulting their application, and ensuring all design and delivery processes adhere to architectural standards. Advanced proficiency in the software development life cycle is essential, particularly in building robust backend systems, APIs, and microservices that power the organization's core products. This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors Location Based Pay Ranges: $129,639 - $172,852 in these states: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, WI, WV, and WY.
