Operations Management Internship, Selah Plant

Are you seeking a paid Internship with a strong company where you will be mentored and gain invaluable experience? If yes, then Tree Top has an exciting opportunity for you at our Selah plant in Selah, WA.

The ideal candidate will be currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior in a college/university pursuing an Operations Management, Food Science, Manufacturing, or Business degree with a minimum 3.0 GPA. The incumbent should have a strong motivation to build their career in their field of study.

This full-time, paid Internship will begin in May/June 2026. Start/end dates are flexible to meet school schedule.

LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES



  • Exposure to manufacturing facility, quality, production, human resource, finance and food safety aspects of industry


  • Gain a better understanding of collective bargaining, customers, products, purchasing, sanitation, and safe quality foods (SQF)
  • Fundamentals of Management - Supervision of employees, delegation, paperwork, and daily operations
  • Evaluate, update and/or write standard operating procedures (SOPs) for equipment and processes, employee training manuals, process flow diagrams (PFDs), supervisor handbook
  • Provide manufacturing information and provide recommendations on best practices and improvements by researching, compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data.
  • Create and revise systems, procedures, paperwork and processes by analyzing operating practices and recommending changes
  • Intern will spend time working in all areas of the plant, with at least 2-4 weeks focused within their educational discipline for professional development.
