We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Manager of Product Security Engineering to join Keysight's Software and AI Labs organization leading a team of security engineers and analysts. The Product Security Engineering team plays a critical role in enabling secure software development practices across Keysight's R&D ecosystem, ensuring compliance, mitigating risk, and driving productivity through automation and scalable security solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of product security engineering practices, partnering closely with R&D teams, product managers, and compliance stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in secure software development, hands-on experience with security tools like SAST and DAST, leadership skills to guide a technical team, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to drive enterprise-wide security initiatives.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of product security engineers and analysts focused on secure software development, threat modeling, and vulnerability management.
  • Drive execution of the roadmap for product security engineering aligned with enterprise DevSecOps strategy.
  • Collaborate with R&D teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and development workflows.
  • Oversee implementation and tuning of SAST, DAST, and other security tools across product lines.
  • Partner with compliance and audit teams to ensure adherence to internal and external security standards.
  • Develop and maintain KPIs to measure security posture, tool adoption, and team effectiveness.
  • Stay current with emerging threats, technologies, and best practices in software security.
  • Advocate for security awareness and training across engineering teams.

Qualifications

Must Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in product security engineering
  • 2+ years in a leadership or management role (Team lead, Project/Program Manager, etc).
  • Strong understanding of secure software development practices, threat modeling, and vulnerability management.
  • Hands-on experience with security tools such as SAST, DAST, SCA, and container scanning.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, build automation, and DevSecOps principles.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Pay is based on experience, education and skills, most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed below.

Colorado pay range: MIN $141,750 - MAX $283,800

Note: For other locations, pay ranges will vary by region
