Experience Portfolio Manager

Active DoD Secret or Top Secret clearance

5+ years of experience as a Technical Portfolio Manager with expertise in Infrastructure, Platform, End User or Delivery services in a DoD related field

Strong technical understanding ideally in Cloud and Systems

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with clients, senior leadership

High attention to details and very organized

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently

Current ITIL V3 or V4 cert required

PMP certification is a plus

Bachelor's Degree IT, Computer Science, Information Science or related field

DUTIES :

The ideal candidate will support Senior Leadership and the Lead Portfolio Manager to ensure compliance with government contracting requirements and identify to meet DoD compliance standards

Assists the Client with the establishment and management of a current client Applications, Systems and virtual environments

Work with senior officials to review and analyze best process and systems moving forward to optimize Program effectiveness across various metrics

Reviews, analyzes, and provides recommendations from the Strategy and Policy

Develops work goals and departmental projects; assigns and coordinates work projects; reviews completed projects to ensure that goals, cost and time commitments are met and that implemented systems are compatible

Coordinate with program management, back office, clients, subcontractors, and vendors regarding project budgets, travel, and contractual matters

Work with the client to align resources and requirements to strategic goals and objectives and provide leadership with insight into current and emerging risk

Establish POAMs, implementation guides, and remediation recommendations to align with strategic initiatives
