Our Digital Enablement Team within Moog's Corporate Group is looking for a Technical Product Manager for AI Solutions!

As the AI Solutions Technical Product Manager at Moog, you will drive the strategic development and implementation of AI (Artificial Intelligence)-powered products and solutions that enhance our Smart Factory capabilities, accelerate data monetization, and deliver exceptional value to customers across aerospace, defense, and industrial markets. Working at the intersection of technology and business strategy, you will translate complex AI capabilities into scalable and responsible solutions while ensuring alignment with enterprise digital transformation goals.

The ideal candidate will work onsite at our Corporate Headquarters in East Aurora, NY, therefore you must live local to the Buffalo, NY area.

To be considered for the Technical Product Manager - AI Solutions role, here's what you'll typically need to bring with you:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related technical field; Master's preferred

  • Over five (5) years of product management experience with at least 2 years focused on AI/ML solutions

  • Strong technical background with understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and AI frameworks

  • Experience in discrete manufacturing environments

  • Proven track record managing complex, cross-functional product development initiatives

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders

  • Experience with agile development methodologies and product management tools

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with data-driven decision-making approach

  • Ability to travel 15-20% domestically

It would also be beneficial if you had:

  • Experience with enterprise AI platforms (e.g., Azure AI, AWS AI/ML, Google Cloud AI)

  • Knowledge of manufacturing systems integration and Industry 4.0 technologies

  • Understanding of data governance, privacy regulations, and AI ethics frameworks

  • Product management certification (e.g., SAFe POPM, CSPO, CPM) or technical certifications in AI/ML

  • Experience with PLM, ERP, MES systems and manufacturing data workflows

  • Background in aerospace/defense regulatory requirements and compliance

  • MBA or advanced degree in relevant field

Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Development

  • Define and execute AI product roadmaps aligned with Smart Factory and Connected Product strategies

  • Integrate AI solutions into broader digital transformation initiatives

  • Manage product lifecycle from concept through launch, including go-to-market strategies and adoption metrics

  • Facilitate agile development processes and sprint planning for AI product development teams

  • Engage with customers and internal stakeholders to understand pain points and validate AI product concepts

  • Define and track leading indicators (KPIs) for AI solution success and business impact

Technical Leadership

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to architect scalable, secure AI solutions within existing enterprise systems

  • Ensure AI products integrate seamlessly with PLM, ERP, MES, CRM, and SRM systems

  • Stay current with emerging AI technologies and assess their applicability to manufacturing and engineering use cases

  • Champion best practices for AI model development, testing, and deployment

Salary Range Transparency:

Buffalo, NY $130,000.00-$185,000.00 Annually

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
