Introduction

As Head of Quality for the EUV Factory, you will lead the strategic direction and execution of quality initiatives across the EUV manufacturing landscape. You will be a recognized authority in Quality & Excellence (Q&E), driving transformational improvements, shaping long-term strategy, and influencing senior stakeholders both internally and externally. This role requires deep technical expertise, cross-sector leadership, and the ability to operate in a dynamic, complex environment.

Role and Responsibilities

Quality Control, Assurance & Compliance

  • Lead quality control and assurance programs across the EUV factory.

  • Drive technical and organizational risk management activities.

  • Oversee investigations into non-conformances and implement preventive actions.

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal regulations.

Strategy, Roadmap & Policy

  • Develop and own the EUV Factory Quality roadmap and strategic targets.

  • Represent Quality in Hoshin Kanri and global manufacturing forums.

  • Shape long-term quality strategy (5-7 year horizon) and drive innovation.

  • Draft and deploy policies, procedures, and guidelines aligned with Q&E principles.

Process Improvement & Transformation

  • Lead transformational process improvement initiatives across modules and platforms.

  • Prioritize and manage a portfolio of quality improvement projects.

  • Ensure implementation of improvements in systems, architecture, and documentation.

Expert Knowledge & Capability Building

  • Provide thought leadership and specialist advice across ASML.

  • Mentor and coach senior professionals to build a performance-oriented culture.

  • Promote and manage adoption of Q&E standards and Best-Known Methods.

Stakeholder Management & Collaboration

  • Build and maintain a network within ASML's senior management and supplier leadership.

  • Interface with external parties in complex environments to align quality expectations.

  • Influence and engage cross-functional teams to drive quality outcomes.

Performance & Data Analytics

  • Oversee quality data analysis and reporting projects.

  • Apply advanced statistical methods to drive continuous improvement.

  • Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

Customer Focus

  • Manage customer interactions and ensure quality complaints are prevented.

  • Participate in audits and represent the factory in customer-facing engagements.

  • Develop customer-centric processes and policies.

Culture & Community

  • Champion the Living Quality & Excellence culture.

  • Promote Q&E communication and recognition programs.

  • Act as a role model within the Q&E community and across sectors.

Education and Experience

  • Master's degree in Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

  • Extensive experience in Q&E domains such as Supplier/Manufacturing Quality, Lean, Six Sigma.

  • Minimum of 8 years in a global technology environment (e.g., semiconductor, electronics, automotive).

  • Proven track record in strategic thinking and hands-on change leadership.

  • Recognized mentor and coach with ability to inspire and engage professionals.

Skills
  • Deep expertise in Quality Management Systems and roadmap development.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

  • Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, cross-sector environment.

  • Strategic mindset with operational execution capabilities.

The current base annual salary range for this role is currently:

$129,000-215,000

Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.

The Company offers employees and their families, medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to participate in the Company's 401k plan. Employees will also receive eight (8) hours of vacation leave every month and (13) paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
