Staffmark Drivers is seeking new talent in Palmetto, GA, and hiring an experienced Yard Jockey to join our team. Work no-touch freight on a consistent schedule with paid weekly hours!

Pay: $24.75/hour

Schedule: D Shift:

• Thursday 12:00 AM - 6:00 AM
• Thursday 6:00 PM - Friday 6:00 AM
• Friday 6:00 PM - Saturday 6:00 AM
• Saturday 6:00 PM - Sunday 6:00 AM
• Alternate shift option: Thursday 1:00 AM - 7:00 AM; Thursday 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; Friday 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; Saturday 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

Job Details:

• Route Info: Staying on the yard, no long-haul or regional routes
• No-touch freight | Yard operations only
• No unloading required
• No lifting requirements
• Vehicle Type: 53ft tractor-trailer

Job Duties:

• Perform required vehicle safety inspections before, during, and after dispatch
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicle and report any maintenance problems
• Represent the company in a positive and professional manner
• Follow yard procedures and safety protocols
• Available for work as scheduled to meet operational needs

Required Qualifications:

• Valid DOT Medical Card
• Valid Class A Driver's License
• No more than 3 moving violations and/or accidents within the last 3 years
• Clear FMCSA Clearinghouse Report
• Acceptable MVR and ability to pass pre-employment screening(s)
• At least 1 year of verifiable driving experience within the last 3 years
