Process Engineer

• Design, implement, and improve extrusion processes to enhance quality, reduce scrap, and increase efficiency.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and process documentation.
• Train and mentor operators and technicians on equipment use, troubleshooting, safety, and best practices.
• Lead problem-solving and risk analysis activities, including FMEA and root cause analysis.
• Manage extrusion-related projects from concept through completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and cross-team collaboration.
• Collect and analyze production data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement aligned with Lean and Six Sigma initiatives.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Plastics Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in plastic extrusion manufacturing preferred, with strong knowledge of extrusion principles, polymers, and process control.
• Skilled in root cause analysis, FMEA, and process capability studies.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to train and engage team members.
• Proven project management and analytical abilities, with a data-driven approach.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
