The Contribution You'll bring to this Role:

The Supervisor has the primary responsibility of leading by example. Supervisor must supervise all manufacturing activities including scheduling jobs in production, supervising production workers in all department, assuring a safe and production workplace.

A supervisor is an individual with understanding on what makes team members tick and what motivates them to grow and excel. Work with little supervision while following all health and safety standards is essential. The goal is to contribute to the overall performance and drive of the business to success.

What You'll Do at Justrite:



  • Ability to communicate with specific directions and procedures to follow in carrying out assigned tasks.


  • Monitor team members on site during production activities to ensure compliance with the standards of operations, ethic and safety procedures.


  • Must be skilled and experienced in the department to guide the team to ensure production efficiency and quality.


  • Recognize the contributions of every team member and encourages them to work together in harmony, sharing ideas and maintaining good relationships in the execution of production tasks.


  • Ensure completed product meets quality standards before moving to the next area.


  • Manage the production schedule and coordinating the processing of orders as efficiently as possible to get the work processed through the facility.


  • Ensure operational quality and cost objectives while meeting on-time delivery schedule.


  • Ensures all workers have proper safety gear and clothing before performing work.


  • Interview and assist with selecting new hires, terminating employees and giving disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Ability to fill in on a job when employee is absence.


Your Skills and Expertise:

To ensure your success from day one in this role, Justrite requires the following qualifications at a minimum:



  • 5+ years manufacturing experience with a minimum 3 years supervisory/management role.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively set goals, lead and motivate others.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing tools and equipment
  • Computer knowledge including Microsoft suite, especially for production data analysis


Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:



  • Manage workforce size, hours, attendance and time off to meet production schedule
  • Diligently follow safe work practices for yourself and team members at all times
  • Ability to create and adhere to production processes
  • Ability to write reports legibly and accurately
  • Excellent organization, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Promote a flexible team environment with job rotation and cross training as needed
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong work ethic
  • Relevant training and certification in industrial production, engineering technology, or any related field


Compensation:

The position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $68,000 to $75,000.

Actual base salaries will vary and may be above or below the recommended pay range based on factors such as but not limited to location, relevant experience and performance. Additionally, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan to enhance their overall total compensation package when Justrite Safety Group and their business units achieve annual business and financial targets.
