Intake Counselor Opportunity!

The Assessment and Referral Intake Counselor is responsible for responding effectively to requests for information on a wide range of human service needs. The position is responsible for direct contact with potential clients, patients, residents, referral sources, physicians, clinical treatment team members and case managers. The position is expected to make an accurate assessment of inquirers' problems and needs, identify resources to meet their needs, make the appropriate referrals and provide advocacy when required.

This opportunity is a full-time (40 or 32 hours/week) benefit-eligible position, day shift and every other weekend required.

Lincoln Prairie Behavioral Health Center is dedicated to providing youth with compassionate mental health treatment that encourages self-responsibility and personal growth. We are the only facility of our kind in Central Illinois. We provide psychiatric treatment to children and adolescents that present with a broad range of psychiatric and behavioral disorders. A clinically skilled multidisciplinary team works to partner with the youth and family to accomplish their goals in a supportive and therapeutic environment.
