Responsible for a variety of tasks operating on an assembly line, including packing, stacking, weighing, inspecting, and other general manufacturing duties. Uses hand tools and small power tools. In addition the incumbent will be responsible for the set up, cleaning, and basic trouble shooting of the related machines. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Ability to safely handle a variety of glass sizes for aquariums. Perform glass processing within the instructions Ability to perform repetitive movement with upper body. Arms, wrist, shoulders, etc. Ability to lift, twist, turn while handling glass for aquariums. Use glass processing machine safely and proficiently Aptitude for attention to detail. Ability to frequently lift up to 35lbs. Ability to lift 50lbs occasionally. Notify Plant Manager or Production Assistant of any quality issues Maintain a clean and safe work area Maintain basic maintenance on Glass Processing machine Capability to stand at least 8 hours Excellent Attendance Perform other tasks as assigned Education and Experience Profile High School diploma or GED required. Three months manufacturing experience preferred. Required Skills Aptitude for attention to detail. Ability to frequently lift up to 35 pounds Capability to stand at least 8 hours Must have strong assembly skills Ability to work in a team setting Ability to enter information into the production system (SAP) Work Environment Repetitive movements required. Must be able to lift 50 pounds with or without assistance. Must be available to work across multiple shifts. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Must wear all prescribed PPE including, but not limited to: hearing protection, safety glasses, respirator and steel toed shoes.
