Whether clients are reimagining campaigns, reshaping reputation or redefining workflows, we fuse technology and culture to transform modern communications.

A core capability within Weber Shandwick, Weber I/O partners with ambitious leaders to unlock the full power of tech, data and AI. Built for today's complexity, we deliver solutions where intelligence, innovation and cultural fluency converge-unleashing real outcomes, with velocity.

Core service areas include intelligence, experience, performance and AI Acceleration.

For the latter, we help organizations integrate, scale and activate AI solutions that drive real change. From agentic orchestration, industry-first pilots and scenario planning to machine readability intelligence, change management and organizational design, we balance cutting-edge tech with people first-strategies.

Our AI Acceleration work is central to the firm's Agency of the Future commitment, with real opportunity to learn, create and collaborate. The Senior Associate is a key role on the team, working closely with Weber I/O leaders and Associates, Halo development team members and TWSC teams across our diverse client portfolio.

Are you excited by the possibilities of new AI platforms and how they're reshaping the way we work? Curious about the intersections of people and tech? This role digs into emerging technologies-and how we can use them to push our work, and ourselves, forward.

What you'll do

  • Design + demo AI augmented workflows. Create demos and content for client workshops, meetings; learn and apply user experience approaches to new technologies and platforms. Apply client-relevant workflows and goals to strategic scenario planning research, refining and augmenting in partnership with I/O team members and TWSC colleagues.
  • Advance agentic workflows. Collaborate with an integrated team to conceive of, develop, test, refine and document new AI agents, pilot model workflows and help evolve Halo, our secure AI workspace. Support SMEs in development of bespoke agents to support their unique workflows. Analyze Halo and Agent usage, recommend additions and refinements, develop resources to support agency-wide adoption.
  • Activate + Extend AI + You curriculum. Actively support design and delivery of TWSC's global applied learning program. Includes leveraging agentic workflows to create bespoke training materials, promotional assets and internal comms; active and ongoing community engagement, including content generation; session prep, production and sometimes presentation; and close liaison with integrated I/O team, internal comms, agency SMEs.
  • Monitor, test and assess new platforms, tools and workflows to evaluate their potential relevance for communications and marketing. Spot signals, experiment with and prototype nascent technologies, and exercise creative freedom to build new worlds and assets across novel platforms. Actively contribute to discussions about the applications and implications of AI on our work
  • Support priority I/O initiatives and projects. Jump into other I/O priorities including client projects, research synthesis, innovation sprints, external visibility efforts when extra lift is needed.

  • 1-4 years of experience in AI, communications, digital innovation or adjacent fields.

You'll thrive here if you

  • Treat change as your natural environment, adapting with curiosity and discipline as new platforms, priorities and ways of working arise.
  • Are immersed in, and energized by emerging tech-its possibilities and implications-and can translate it into clear, plain English.
  • Believe in the power of secure, responsible AI-and have ideas for demonstrating it daily.
  • Think and act on the fly, shifting smoothly between independent work and collaborative team projects.
