SUMMARY/OBJECTIVES

It is the responsibility of the WCF Analyst to analyze the financial information provided to identify risks within the portfolio and to make recommendations to the WCF Manager, Credit Administrator, and Banker as to performance against established requirements. The analyst provides written analysis summarizing findings as well as updating other reporting tools related to the portfolio.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Provide monthly reports to management on Working Capital Finance commitments.
  • Reporting includes commitment amount, usage, borrowing base leverage, inventory reliance and covenant compliance.
  • Works with Bankers and Portfolio Managers to ensure timely receipt of the required financial information.
  • Analyze Borrower's financial reports in order to make calculations of a Borrower's credit availability.
  • Update lending limits on the loan system.
  • Assists Bankers and Portfolio Managers in the underwriting of WCF facilities, making recommendations on how to properly structure loan facilities to mitigate risk.
  • Order and review collateral field exams.
  • Provide exception reports to Bankers, Managers and other Loan Administration personnel, detailing borrowers that have exceeded established limits on availability.
  • Reports on various aspects of the assigned portfolio such as delinquencies.
  • Manages loan system data to ensure accurate reporting of all WCF commitments.
  • Identify any credit deterioration and assist in developing necessary action plans to improve or exit the credit.

Qualifications, Education, and Certification Requirements

  • Education: Four-year degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or other related field
  • Experience: Two - Four years credit analysis or related experience.
  • Certifications/Specific Knowledge: Familiarity with accounting principles and an understanding of commercial lending practices.

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/CLASSES

Required compliance courses.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to stand and/or sit for long periods of time. Must be able to effectively access and interpret information on computer screens, documents, and reports.

In accordance with Colorado law: Colorado pay for this position is anticipated to be between $48,647.00 - $77,710.00 , actual offers to be determined based on applicant's skills, experience and education.
