Introduction:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Systems Analyst to support enterprise-scale Microsoft environments for federal customers. This role will focus on the design, implementation, governance, and support of Microsoft 365 services-specifically SharePoint, Power Platform, and related technologies-across secure enclaves and large user bases. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of delivering innovative collaboration and data solutions while ensuring compliance, security, and seamless user experiences.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Manage and administer Microsoft 365 services with an emphasis on SharePoint, Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate), and Microsoft Teams across multiple enclaves and environments.

  • Lead enterprise migrations, including planning and execution of SharePoint Subscription Edition to SharePoint Online.

  • Design and implement governance frameworks, policies, and security controls (e.g., DLP, sensitivity labels, retention policies) across M365 environments.

  • Act as product manager for Power BI (Service & Reporting Server), driving secure adoption and maximizing analytics capabilities.

  • Implement hybrid solutions, including on-premises data gateways, SQL Server Analysis Services, and Microsoft Search to integrate disparate data sources.

  • Provide Tier 3 support for escalated issues across SharePoint, Power Platform, and other Microsoft products in highly secure environments.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams-including Identity, Security, and Application Development-to ensure timely role assignments, access management, and enterprise-wide issue resolution.

  • Author and maintain documentation, including governance standards, SOPs, and Authorization to Operate (ATO) packages.

  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and backlog refinement to prioritize enterprise IT initiatives.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in knowledge transfer, training, and mentoring for government and contractor staff.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Criminal Justice with Data Analysis, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 10+ years of progressive experience supporting enterprise IT environments, with 5+ years specializing in Microsoft 365 services.

  • Deep expertise in:

    • SharePoint administration (on-premises and online)

    • Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate)

    • Hybrid deployments with on-premises and cloud data integration

    • Identity & Access Management within secure environments

  • Proven success implementing governance, compliance, and security frameworks for federal customers.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with experience providing Tier 2/3 support.

  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and DevOps practices.

  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Preferred Certifications & Skills

  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams, SharePoint, or Power Platform credentials

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals or higher

  • CompTIA A+ or other technical certifications

  • Experience with SQL, PowerShell, and scripting for automation

  • Knowledge of geospatial analysis tools (ArcGIS, QGIS) a plus
