Apply Job Type Full-time Description Shive-Hattery has an immediate opening for a full-time, onsite Human Resources Generalist in our Cedar Rapids, IA Corporate Office with 0 to 3 years of experience. This role provides essential support to our Human Resources team and helps us to ensure day-to-day operations across the firm. You'll be part of a culture that values learning, mentorship, and continuous improvement. What You'll Do: Provide day-to-day support for HR operations and assist business units with HR-related needs Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies Collect, track and analyze HR data for reporting and compliance purposes Assist with compensation and benefits administration Facilitate and support our firm's safety program Take on additional responsibilities as assigned to support team and organizational goals Requirements Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Word and Excel Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality Familiarity with employment/labor laws and HR procedures Experience in recordkeeping is a plus Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred, not required Human Resources Certification (i.e. PHR, SHRM-CP) or a commitment to professional development is desirable Must be able to work in an office environment for up to 8 hours Must have a valid driver's license Must be able to travel as needed Why Shive-Hattery?
