The selected candidate will be appointed at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in the Clinical X, In Residence, or HS Clinical series, depending on qualifications and interests. The selected candidate should demonstrate a commitment to building a strong academic career and excellence in clinical care, teaching, and research. The selected candidate will hold a faculty title at UCSF, but will be responsible to lead the medical student teaching in Interventional Radiology at SF VAMC as Course Director. The selected candidate may provide clinical services at the San Francisco Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) but may also include clinical work at other UCSF Health and UCSF-affiliated sites, including UCSF Moffitt/Long Hospital, Precision Care Medical Building, Mission Bay hospitals, and Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital (ZSFG). The position requires an MD degree (or equivalent), ability to practice medicine in California, and completion of ACGME-accredited interventional radiology fellowship or interventional radiology residency training program. Applicants are expected to be board certified (or eligible) by the American Board of Radiology or be prepared to enter into the ABR Alternate Pathway.
