For our innovative Adobe Experience Manager solution driving a billion-dollar revenue, Adobe is looking for a Computer Scientist to join our Engineering team working on AEM Assets as a Cloud Service

We're seeking candidates to help us design, build and run high traffic, high-demand services that drive business for the world's top brands. We are looking for people who are self-starters.

What you will do

  • Craft and develop responsive, dynamic user interfaces using JavaScript/TypeScript and React.

  • Build and maintain robust backend services and APIs.

  • Optimize application performance to deliver a seamless user experience.

  • Ensure the security and integrity of applications by implementing the best security practices.

  • Work with engineering teams to design, build, and maintain systems and solve complex experience management operations and automation challenges.

  • Review and collaborate on features, technology, architecture, designs, time & budget estimates, and test strategies. Inspire and encourage solution teams to build reliable and scalable services.

  • Keep pace with the evolving technology trends in software development and operations to take advantage of the industry trends and translate them for Adobe.

  • Contribute to DevOps processes to streamline deployment and improve operational efficiency.

  • Participate in an on-call schedule.

Experience

  • Proven experience in fullstack development with a strong focus on frontend technologies.

  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React.

  • Prior knowledge of AEM development is a huge plus. Deep understanding of both software engineering and technical operations.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to successfully implement solutions.

  • Knowledge of agile methodologies and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical collaborators.

  • A proactive, ambitious approach with a passion for continuous learning and improvement.

  • A dedication to writing clean, maintainable code and following standard methodologies.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area and 8+ years experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $153,600 -- $286,600 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
