Estimated annual base pay: 113,000 (min) - $147,000 (mid) - $181,000(max)

Sr Staff Engineer, Test

Estimated annual base pay: $145,000 (min) - $181,000 (mid) - $218,000(max)

Staff Engineer, Test

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Testing Strategies: Designs comprehensive testing plans and methodologies to ensure thorough evaluation of software quality and performance.
  • Lead Complex Testing Projects: Manages and directs multifaceted testing initiatives, coordinating cross functional teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Innovate Testing Solutions: Identifies and implements advanced testing tools and techniques to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the testing process.
  • Analyze and Report Defects: Evaluates test data, identifies critical issues, and communicates findings to stakeholders to drive product improvements.
  • Advanced Controls Systems Knowledge: Demonstrates a solid understanding of PLCs and automation. Implements robotics, vision systems, linear actuators, servos, VFDs, motion control, and motor control. Proficient in ladder logic, arrays, tags, programming, SCADA, and the deployment of complex HMIs. Possesses a thorough understanding of data acquisition hardware and associated programming.
  • Mentor and Guide Team: Provides leadership and technical expertise to the testing team, fostering an environment of continuous learning and problem solving.

Senior Staff Engineer, Test

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Technical Expert: Provides advanced expertise in testing methodologies and tools, guiding teams through complex technical challenges.
  • Develop Testing Strategies: Designs and implements comprehensive testing strategies that align with organizational goals and industry best practices.
  • Lead Complex Projects: Manages high risk, multifaceted testing initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and effective resource utilization.
  • Innovate Problem Solutions: Identifies and resolves unique testing issues using innovative approaches, enhancing overall product quality and reliability.
  • Communicate with Stakeholders: Articulates complex testing concepts and results to senior leadership, influencing strategic decision making and resource allocation.
  • Implements Advanced Controls Systems: Implements site wide automation projects in robotics, vision systems, linear actuators, servos, VFDs, motion control, and motor control. Highly proficient in PLC's, ladder logic, arrays, tags, programming, SCADA, and the deployment of complex HMIs. Possesses a thorough understanding of data acquisition hardware and associated programming.
