We are currently hiring a Mounting Technician. Location: Columbia, IL Shift: Monday - Friday 4pm - 12:30am What's in it for you? What you'll do: Insert correct lens into correct side of frame (right and left lens) Ensure that lenses are correct size and fit into frame Ensure that any special beveling needs are met for each individual Rx Properly align frame by bending with fingers and/or tools Verify the axis on all multi-focal lenses Make sure all lenses are cosmetically acceptable Align bifocals and progressives to make sure they are straight across Briefly inspect frames for defects or broken parts Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. 1+ year of experience in an optical production role preferred. Strong attention to detail.
