Job Description - Automation Technician As an Automation Technician, you will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and fine-tuning programs on automated equipment used in circuit board assembly. We're looking for candidates with varying levels of experience-whether you're starting your career or have more advanced skills, there's room for growth and advancement in this role. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: * Support and monitor automated machinery for circuit board assembly. * Adjust machines to meet quality standards and resolve production issues. * Assist with machine maintenance, repairs, and prototypes as needed. * Monitor processes and log results accurately. * Fill in for Machine Operators when required. * Support workflow in the department and follow all safety/quality procedures. * Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Qualifications: * Associate's degree in Electronics, Computer Programming, PC Repair, Automotive, CNC, or related field (experience may substitute). * Mechanical aptitude: ability to take machines apart and reassemble. * Knowledge of printed circuit board automation a plus. * Intermediate computer skills (Excel, Word). * Strong hand-eye coordination for working with small electronic parts. * Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English. * Good communication skills to work in a team environment. Physical Requirements: * Stand or sit for long periods with minimal breaks. * Perform repetitive tasks with hands and tools. * Good close vision and ability to distinguish colors/fine details. * Lift up to 40 lbs. regularly.
