Description
The Pittsburgh Paints Company is seeking an SAP Supply Chain Support Specialist to join our supply chain technology team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP APO (DP and SNP modules) and SAP IBP (Demand Planning, Inventory Optimization, and S&OP), with a strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain and manufacturing processes. This role involves solution design, configuration, troubleshooting, and support of planning systems to enable business excellence. You will report to the Director of SAP Platforms and work hybrid or remote. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead process design, configuration, and troubleshooting within SAP APO and related ECC modules (PP, MM) in a supply chain and manufacturing environment.
- Manage CIF reconciliation activities, including ECC/APO Queue Management (/SAPAPO/CQ), Post Processing (/SAPAPO/CPP), and CIF Reconciliation Reports (/SAPAPO/CCR).
- Monitor and manage APO process chains; restart or adjust jobs as needed.
- Support APO DP with BI concepts, including process chains, cubes, and data loading into Planning Areas.
- Configure and maintain APO planning tools such as Planning Books, Aggregation/Disaggregation, and Macros.
- Drive IBP project implementations, ensuring integration with ECC and alignment to business processes.
- Manage IBP job templates, including restarts and creation of ad hoc templates.
- Troubleshoot CIDS interface issues and support user creation, account activation, and access management.
- Provide day-to-day support to planning end-users, addressing Level 1 functional questions and requests.
- Perform regression testing of standard IBP delivered content (SAPIBP1) during quarterly upgrades.
- Configure and maintain IBP planning tools including Realignment, Phase In/Out, Aggregation/Disaggregation, and Key Figure Calculations.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure effective adoption of planning solutions and continuous process improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or a business-related field with 7+ years of experience.
- Strong expertise in SAP APO (DP, SNP) with hands-on configuration and support experience.
- Solid background in SAP IBP (Demand Planning, Inventory Optimization, S&OP) and proven involvement in multiple IBP projects.
- Knowledge of SAP ECC integration (PP, MM) with APO/IBP.
- Proficiency in CIF reconciliation, APO job management, and BI concepts.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Exposure to SAP CIDS and interface troubleshooting.
- Experience with user management and security in IBP.
- Familiarity with best practices for supply chain and manufacturing processes.
