Description The Cash Application Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of cash application process, ensuring timely and accurate posting of payments/cash receipts to customer accounts. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate across departments to optimize the company's cash flow. The Cash Application Lead will report to the Credit Services Manager in Cranberry Township, PA. This is a hybrid position. Key Responsibilities: Ensure accurate and timely posting of payments to customer accounts, including checks, ACH, wire transfers, and credit card transactions. Perform daily and monthly reconciliations of cash receipts, resolving discrepancies and ensuring alignment with bank statements. Collaborate with the accounts receivable and credit team to resolve payment discrepancies and customer inquiries. Prepare and analyze cash application reports for senior management, providing insights into cash flow and payment trends. Ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies, maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. Provide training and support to cash application staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within treasury operations. Develop and implement KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to track metrics of the treasury function. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field Knowledge of regulatory requirements, including but not limited to SOX (Sarbanes Oxley), AML (Anti Money Laundering). Minimum of 5 years of experience in Treasury or Accounts Receivable, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. Strong knowledge of cash management, liquidity planning, and risk management practices. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments. Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus. Experience in a shared service center environment is preferred.
