Summary Objective: The Regional Director of Sales & Operations is responsible for providing support and guidance to the General Managers and their clubs as assigned by the Chief Club Officer. They will partner with General Managers to maximize profits, recruit, hire, develop and retain employees and exceed member and guest expectations. Essential Functions:
- Deliver the Ultimate Fitness Experience to every member, every time
- Provide guidance, leadership and coaching to all assigned General Managers
- Coach General Managers in the process of monthly goal setting, giving staff on-going feedback and coaching, applying clear and consistent performance standards, defining clear roles and responsibilities, and handling performance issues constructively and correctly
- Communicate area-wide changes in policies and procedures
- Partner with assigned General Managers to drive monthly sales efforts
- Participate in the recruiting and hiring of all staff for the assigned area of clubs
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and conduct training efforts for assigned clubs on an ongoing basis
- Review and manage daily sales reporting, revenue and expenses, weekly sales audits, member gains and terminations and communicate all results to SVP of Operations
- Support the partnership between sales and fitness throughout the assigned area of clubs to ensure the successful on boarding of new members
- Support Non-Dues Revenue generation throughout clubs and work with General Managers to drive results through the appropriate department heads
- Seek out creative and innovate ways to generate new revenue sources and proactively control expenses
- Track member terminations for assigned area and report to Vice President of Operations, if needed
- Proficient in all reports generated through appropriate programs
- Audit and monitor assigned clubs score cards
- Identify and mentor high-potential department head level staff to build General Manager or
- Membership Director level skill sets
- Inspect clubs to ensure adherence to cleanliness and operation standards (score cards)
- Address problems to correct in a timely manner and submit work orders, as needed
- Respond to members as needed for assigned clubs
- Review bi-weekly payroll trend reports and make staffing recommendations accordingly
- Conduct and submit quarterly coaching reports for in-club department heads and General Managers following company policies and procedures
- Visit each club in assigned area at least once per week
- Emulate and drive US Fitness core values among staff members in the clubs and promote communication between team members, departments and disciplines
- Attend all required meetings
- Assume other duties as assigned
- Work early morning, evening, and weekend hours as necessary

Required Experience, Education & Certifications:
- Degree in recreation, fitness, business management or related field preferred
- Seven to ten years management experience in health club environment preferred
- CPR/AED certification required
