We are seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee front-of-house operations for the dynamic corporate dining program at Graham Capital Management, a premier investment management firm in Fairfield, CT. Located in a historic 1800s mansion, this role offers the opportunity to deliver exceptional dining and hospitality experiences to a fast-growing community of 200+ professionals. As the Assistant Manager, you'll be the face of hospitality, ensuring smooth, polished service across daily dining and high-profile catering events. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll balance service delivery, team oversight, and client engagement. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assists with managing food service operations in accordance with the approved budget while providing the client with the maximum value. Ensures the food offered to the client, customers, and associates of the operation is of superior quality. Assists with purchasing and inventory. Maintains excellent relationships with associates, guests and clients, as well as other departments within the operation. Managing front-of-house operations, including the cafe, grill, deli, salad bar, and multiple coffee pantries. Supporting catering services, from conference room lunches to executive dining and large-scale events. Working alongside the onsite Director and the Executive Chef to maintain operational excellence. Overseeing temporary staff during larger events and ensuring seamless guest service. Providing hands-on support: setting up, serving, clearing, and assisting at the POS station when needed. Delivering outstanding customer service with a professional, personable, and approachable demeanor. Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications: At least 2 to 4 years of hands-on food service management experience. Experience in fine dining restaurants, boutique hotels, country clubs, and/or related food service operations. Comprehensive knowledge of food. Financial experience and business acumen skills. ServSafe Certification is preferred. Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and the internet. Associate's degree is preferred.
