Summary:

• The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, provides patient treatment and therapy by following an established plan of care directed and supervised by an OTR/L. Responsible for mentoring Assistants, Technicians, and Students. Collaborates with other healthcare team members and physicians in a multi-disiplinary fashion to deliver the highest quality of care. Participates in CQI activities. Facilitates the provision of excellent customer service.

• EDUCATION
• Associate Degree from an Accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program.
• EXPERIENCE
• None
• LICENSURE/REGISTRATION/CERTIFICATION
• Current NC Board of Occupational Therapy license. Occupational Therapist Assistant license or eligible.
• OTHER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
• Analytical abilities to delegate personnel, problem solve with positive solutions. Good interpersonal and communication skills required to facilitate interactions with stated customers and staff members.
