The Sales Operations Manager provides leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight for the sales organization. This role manages the sales process end-to-end, ensuring optimal use of CRM tools, accurate reporting, and effective workflow management for the Sales Operations team. By supporting the physician sales force, driving analytics, and aligning operational processes, this position plays a critical role in improving sales force effectiveness and achieving revenue goals.

This is a REMOTE Opportunity with national travel.

Applicants may reside anywhere within the Continental USA.

We are looking for someone experienced in managing sales operations in a healthcare or specialty pharmacy environment, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical, specialty pharmacy, or infusion therapy field management with a demonstrated record of achievement required.

Responsibilities

    Serves as the primary operational support resource for the physician sales team
  • Oversees the daily workflow and project management for the Sales Operations team, ensuring tasks are prioritized and executed efficiently
  • Provides guidance, resources, and tools to help the sales team achieve performance targets
  • Leads the development, maintenance, and enhancement of the company-wide CRM platform
  • Implements new features, functionality, and workflows to maximize user adoption and productivity
  • Onboards and trains new sales team members in CRM use and best practices
  • Develops and delivers regular sales reports, dashboards, and analyses for the Sales and 340B Sales teams
  • Integrates finance-driven data with CRM metrics to provide a complete view of performance
  • Analyzes territory trends, including customer segmentation, call activity, GPO contracts, and sales results, to identify growth opportunities
  • Collaborates with leadership to define key performance indicators (KPIs) for the sales organization
  • Monitors and reports on KPIs to assess productivity, efficiency, and results
  • Provides insights that inform strategic decisions and territory planning
  • Designs and delivers sales training programs for all new hires
  • Contributes to the design and tactical planning of the National Sales Meeting and other sales workshops
  • Ensures ongoing development opportunities are available for sales staff
  • Oversees the preparation and facilitation of territory reviews to align sales activities with company goals
  • Supports the SVP of Sales with strategic projects and initiatives


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience) required
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical, specialty pharmacy, or infusion therapy field management with a demonstrated record of achievement required
  • Advanced degree in Business or related field preferred
  • Experience managing sales operations in a healthcare or specialty pharmacy environment preferred
  • Strong understanding of trade relations, reimbursement processes, government programs, managed care, formulary management, and contract negotiation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and CRM systems
  • Exceptional organizational, administrative, and communication skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
