Assembler- Equipment Enclosure

The equipment enclosure position is responsible for the construction, building, wiring, and installing all electrical components in control panels as well as other equipment.

A Day In The Life

  • Wire and build industrial control panels based on panel layouts and wiring diagrams
  • Thoroughly test and troubleshoot electrical control panels and sub-assemblies
  • Install bracing doors, insulation, vapor barriers, thermal barriers, interior and exterior sheeting and interior and exterior components
  • Mount lights, strut, cable tray, AC/DC distribution panels, switches, conduit,
  • Paint as required
  • Perform necessary quality checks as required
  • Perform wiring, cable pulling, connecting, terminating, and mounting interior and exterior equipment


What will help you thrive in this role?

  • High school or Equivalent (preferred)
  • Experience in a production manufacturing environment a plus
  • Construction background preferred
  • Ability to read a tape measure
  • Ability to use hand/power tolls
  • Basic math skills
  • Attention to detail/Quality Oriented/Organization
  • Basic Computer skills
