The Rutgers Division of Intercollegiate Athletics sponsors 24 intercollegiate sports, comprised of 14 women's and 10 men's programs, that compete at the Division I level. The Scarlet Knights are members of the prestigious Big Ten Conference, the nation's premier academic and athletic conference, after officially joining the league on July 1, 2014. Known as "The Birthplace of College Football, Rutgers hosted Princeton on Nov. 6, 1869 in the first intercollegiate football game, with RU earning a 6-4 victory. |

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking Football Operations Administrative Support for Football. This role provides critical support to the Football Operations department through a wide range of logistical, administrative, and event coordination responsibilities. The individual in this position plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of team operations, contributing directly to the success of practices, events, recruiting, and team travel.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:
Operational Support: Provides comprehensive support in executing operational functions for the football program. Assists staff and coaches with routine and specialized tasks to maintain an efficient working environment. Guest Services & Gameday Operations: Assists with guest check-in and provides support for gameday setup and event execution to ensure a positive and professional experience for all attendees. Team Travel & Logistics: Supports the coordination and execution of team travel, including distributing itineraries, organizing seating charts, and ensuring logistical details are followed accurately. Student Intern Management: Plays an active role in recruiting, onboarding, and supervising Student Interns within the Operations Department. Assigns daily responsibilities and provides ongoing oversight to ensure productivity and alignment with department goals. Recruiting Support & Official Visits: Assists with operational and logistical planning for official visits, ensuring seamless execution of schedules, accommodations, and events in support of the recruiting process. Training Camp Operations: Supports all facets of training camp logistics, including dormitory management, creation of rooming lists, and conducting daily dorm checks to maintain structure and compliance.

$25.00 - $35.00/hourly rate |

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience |
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and two (2) years of relevant experience in an administrative function; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

- A valid driver's license would be required for this position.
