Job Duties:
The SVM Cybersecurity Specialist and Systems Administrator is responsible for establishing, implementing and operating security standards that align with applications, system or campus policies. This position will work with the SVM CIO and Director of Information Technology. This position is expected to work independently while establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with faculty, staff, and students. Key Job Responsibilities:Consults and advises faculty about hardware and software appropriate to department's research, instruction, and administrative needs. Conducts investigations of emerging threats and incorporates improvements into security risk assessments, processes, and procedures
Installs, configures, monitors, tunes, and troubleshoots network- and desktop operating systems and other system software on hardware-based and virtual systems.
Minimum salary is $95,824 annually. Compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications. Required Qualifications:
