Job Duties:
Providers with the Division of Hospital Medicine provide comprehensive, patient-centered care for the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses at UW Health practice sites. They are also provided the opportunity to grow the next generation of physicians through hands-on instruction of residents, fellows, and medical students. Our Division prides itself on building a team of empathetic and collaborative physicians who are dedicated to improving the field of Hospital Medicine through clinical and scholarly endeavors. Successful candidates will demonstrate not only their comprehensive clinical knowledge, but their ability to build trusting relationships with patients from diverse backgrounds and lived experiences. The selected candidate will be required to pass an initial Caregiver Check to be eligible for employment under the Wisconsin Caregiver Law and then every four years. The department will not be able to support a request for a J-1 waiver.
