Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Packaging Engineer to lead and support packaging innovation initiatives. This role will focus on the development and evaluation of new packaging technologies, materials, and equipment

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the design, development, and implementation of innovative packaging solutions across multiple product categories.
* Evaluate and integrate new packaging technologies, materials, and equipment to enhance product performance, sustainability, and cost-efficiency.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, manufacturing, marketing, and suppliers to ensure packaging solutions meet functional, regulatory, and brand requirements.
* Conduct feasibility studies, pilot trials, and validation testing for new packaging systems.
* Provide technical expertise in rigid plastic development, including material selection, molding processes, and performance optimization.
* Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and sustainability practices in packaging.
* Support troubleshooting and continuous improvement efforts for existing packaging lines.
* Document and communicate technical findings, specifications, and project updates clearly and effectively.

Experience and Education Requirements:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
* Minimum 3+ years of experience in packaging development, preferably in the food, beverage, or consumer goods industry.
* Proven experience with rigid plastic packaging technologies and processes.
* Strong understanding of packaging equipment, filling technologies, and automation systems.
* Excellent project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Familiarity with sustainability practices and regulatory requirements in packaging. #LI-SF1

The approximate pay range for this position is $115,000.00 to $135,000.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
