We deliver nutritious meals tailored to medical needs while adhering to consistent procedures and maintaining the highest food safety standards. Mission for Position

The Nutrition Services Aide provides an exceptional dining experience by delivering safe, nutritious, and high-quality meals that we would confidently serve to our own families. We are committed to upholding the highest food safety standards, working with care and a positive attitude to support patient well-being - all while fostering a friendly and enjoyable work environment.

Duties & Responsibilities



  • Assemble and deliver patient meals according to prescribed diets and schedules.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in food service areas, following food safety standards.
  • Set up trays with correct food items, utensils, and condiments based on dietary needs.
  • Collect and clear meal trays, ensuring a clean environment.
  • Restock supplies and report shortages or equipment issues.
  • Communicate with patients and staff to ensure accurate meal service.
  • Follow hospital policies on infection control and patient safety.
  • Assist with basic food preparation tasks under supervision.
  • Support a positive patient dining experience through attentive and efficient service.
  • Participate in ongoing food safety and nutrition training


Position Type

This is a part-time position with the following shift offerings:



  • 7:00am-3:30pm;11:00am-7:30pm;3:45pm-7:30pm


Every other weekend and some holidays are required.


Qualifications

Qualifications



  • Must be 16 years of age or older
  • Kitchen experience preferred


Ideal Candidate

A dependable, compassionate team player with excellent communication and customer service skills. They demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Able to manage multiple tasks, follow procedures accurately, and collaborate with others to deliver high-quality meal service. Prior food service or healthcare experience is a plus, but a willingness to learn is key.
